wwi aviation related instruments, clocks, badges, photos, sanke cards, engines (Clerget, daimler diiia, LeRhone, Hispano Suiza)...etc

The intention of this webpage is to present my collection of wwi aviation related artefacts and instruments. Pictures will be added at regular intervals. The page with the RFC panel clocks will be the standard I want to achieve for all pictures. Please bear with me as I am neither a professional photographer (the RFC clock pics were done by Konrad Knirim....many thanks) nor a great web designer. Questions and suggestions are very welcome. Over the weekend I managed to obtain a top end for a diii 6 cylinders plus rockers, I have the camshaft, camshaft drive, crank shaft and case as well as new unfitted main bearings (the case needs a lot of repairing as does the front cylinder bullet in through the manifold and out through the cooling jacket). Also I have all the aggregates magnets, airpump, oilpump, oilfilter, propeller hub... I have also located a replacement piston and conrod... the other 5 I have.... valves I can use from my other diii so everything is in place for a static display.... and the goal is to get it running ;o)

I will add new things on an ongoing basis..... Today more pics of the LeRhone and Hisso plus 2 grips (in 'Other Stuff') The intention is also to substitute the present pictures for higher quality ones. The engines amd clocks are to set the standard here. Then I will need to add commentries and photos as well as Sanke cards......
